Last sunday i arrived in Londen. I'm going to be here for 2 weeks with my classmates. We need to go to school here, to learn more English words and to see what schools are like in another counrty.
i'm with a small group of girls, Angelique, Valesca, Jill, Paulien and Lyanne. I really do like these girls. I'm at Belgrave Road all by myself in a hostfamily.

our first day at school started not that well for me, because i got lost in this big city. I could not find the school and i was an half hour late.. but our teacher was also late that day. We got practical lessons the whole day in massage. The back massage we learned in on Deltion College is very different from here. I like the massage they give here better because it's a little bit longer and it's got more different movements. What i really like about the practical lessons is that they all wear black uniforms, and that every one has his own cutain for more privacy during the massage.

What a disaster. The teacher we had wasn't at school that day and there was no plan B for us, and the other teachers didn't know what to do with us. We waited for hours but felt forgotten. We left at 01:30 because we still did nothing. We wend shopping with oud little group and that was much fun!

mister Noordmans came by to check on us, and we told him the little problems we had with the school. They said sorry to us for not beging totally prepared. That day we followed theory lessons. But everything they need to learn now, we already did back home so it was easy for us and a little bit boring. We noticed that all our classmates are really old, some of then are over 30 years old. That's not a problem but the age diffrence is high. I also noticed that every class has his own teacher for every school subject, so you only have 1 teacher the whole year. ugh..
We also stayed in the salon for a couple of hours, where our hair and nails where done by studends. Always nice.

Today was great, we had practical lessons again the whole day with a lovely class. They talked to us and we did a pedicure on our classmates and we wachted how they do there facemassage. it's much harder en stronger handed than ours, i didn't like it. I don't like it to have practical lessons the whole day, you get really tired of it. I like it that Deltion got mixed lessons, so 4 hours practical and 4 hours theory lessons. it keeps you focused more. But thats fine!
